Big Mountain Activewear is an Alberta based company providing teamwear and apparel to schools, school boards, and corporations nationally. We operate from two distribution centers in Calgary and Edmonton, with the ability to decorate all clothing in-house. Additionally, part of our DNA is giving back to local athletics and education. We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality products and exceptional customer service.

I have been a customer of Big Mountain since 2018. Since that time, I have ordered numerous items for my team, usually on a yearly basis. I have dealt with Shianne Sudar specifically in each of my orders. Shianne has been extremely helpful throughout the design process, helping me to select the most appropriate gear for my project, always having a vast array of selection to chose from. When given a specific budget, Shianne is always on target. Once a product/ design has been chosen, I have always appreciated the communication from Shianne, giving me timelines, which have always been acceptable, of when my items will be completed and ready for pickup. Upon product delivery, the products have always arrived as ordered, on time, and have been of exceptional quality.

Working with the Big Mountain has been a real pleasure for our school. In the past, all of the school kits and apparel we ordered was shipped directly to us for inventory and distribution. With our new partnership with the Big Mountain, everything is handled from the start of the year to the end of the year by them. Meaning they handle our online apparel store, as well as the shipping of orders out to our clients (who get their orders directly, rather than our staff having to package them and then get the items into their hands). The customer service we have received from Rylie is also second to none. Anytime we need some- thing, have a question or curious about what apparel items we should be adding to our online store, he is always quick to help us out. Big Mountain offers a wide range of activewear and other product options. At Rundle Academy, the majority of our orders placed are the Under Armour brand. We have ordered UA basketball and volleyball jerseys, hoodies, long sleeve warm ups, and t-shirts. Other brand items include bandanas, buffs, water bottles, golf hats, and lanyards. Rylie and his team have demonstrated excellent timely and clear communication over the past four years. Our representative, Amber, always offers an abundance of information about the products being suggested, as well as options for materials and design. She keeps all of our orders within budget and if a product isn’t available on the wholesale side, she does her best to find the items on the retail side. When completing the jersey design process, she is quick to make changes and really listens to what we are looking for. She offers advice and feedback to the uniforms, as she deals with many schools and has seen what works and what doesn’t in regards to colour and font options. -Rundle Academy

Big Mountain management and sales reps have also attended many of my league meetings over the years in order to offer support to the Calgary Independent Schools’ Athletic Association with monthly promotions and complimentary league banners. The support from Big Mountain has been outstanding. Our Story

Big Mountain Activewear is a locally owned and operated Promotional goods company in Alberta. We have two offices located in Calgary and Edmonton, and our primary business is providing teamwear and apparel to schools, school boards, and corporations across Canada. We pride ourselves on being able to work with customers both big and small, and we operate exclusively from our two distribution centers located in Edmonton and Calgary.

At Big Mountain Activewear, we have the ability to decorate all of our clothing in-house, which allows us to maintain a high level of quality control. Our Calgary facility is equipped with the tools necessary for embroidering, screen printing, and heat pressing products. Our company was founded in the early 1990s as a family-owned retail and promotional products company in the Calgary area, and in 1995, we began supplying corporate and school customers in the Calgary region with teamwear and corporate promotional products.

Big Mountain Activewear has a strong commitment to giving back to local athletics and education, and we have donated over $1,000,000 to Alberta schools since 2001. We work closely with our customers to develop and source new products that fit within the curriculums and athletic needs of schools and school boards as well as corporate promotional goods. In 2019, Big Mountain was purchased by new owners, and we have continued to give back to the educational market while expanding our product depth to suit the needs of any corporation.

Our team at Big Mountain Activewear has over 30 years of experience in the industry, and we are constantly working to expand our knowledge and improve our customer support skills. We currently work with several school boards, including Edmonton Public Schools, Edmonton Catholic Schools, the Calgary Roman Catholic Separate School Division, Calgary Board of Education, and Rocky View School Division. We take pride in providing not only the highest quality product but also the best customer service in the industry. We are excited to help make your students, athletes, and employees show off your brand with our products.
